IT Security Engineer - Senior

Summary

Join YUPRO Placement as a Senior IT Security Engineer in a fully remote contract role with potential for extension or conversion. This position focuses on physical security systems within a global enterprise environment. You will lead the technical design and implementation of access control and CCTV solutions. The role requires extensive experience in security systems and specific technologies. Occasional on-site support in MA is preferred. The pay range is $65-$75/hour.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in security systems installation and programming
• Proficient with Genetec, Axis, Hanwha, DMP, Bosch systems
• Genetec certifications required
• Familiar with TCP/IP, VPNs, VLANs, firewalls, and network security
• Experience with SDLC and Agile methodologies

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy access control and CCTV systems, including software and hardware
• Manage virtual machines (VMware, Hyper-V, cloud)
• Configure and troubleshoot complex network infrastructures
• Ensure system integration with security platforms (e.g., Genetec)
• Provide ongoing technical support and documentation
