IT Security Manager

Summary

Join TIMOCOM as an IT Security Manager and assume responsibility for company-wide IT security and processes. Enjoy the flexibility to work 100% remotely or utilize our TEAMocom Spaces. You will evaluate and plan preventive measures to minimize security risks, manage vulnerabilities, and lead the IT security team. Collaborate with external security operation centers and advise departments on information security. Develop and maintain security concepts, processes, and guidelines. This role requires several years of IT security experience, excellent communication skills, and experience with risk analysis and regulatory compliance (e.g., IT-Grundschutz, ISO27001).

Requirements

• Possess several years of professional experience in IT security
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of the organization
• Be a responsible individual who embraces change
• Have experience in creating risk analyses, planning measures, and controlling their effectiveness
• Be familiar with legal and regulatory requirements in information security (e.g., IT-Grundschutz, ISO27001)
• Possess very good German (C1 level or higher) and English skills (B2 level or higher) for effective team communication

Responsibilities

• Oversee company-wide IT security and its processes
• Evaluate and plan preventive measures to minimize security risks
• Manage vulnerabilities and their effective remediation
• Provide expert leadership to the IT security team and coordinate with adjacent IT staff functions
• Design TIMOCOM's future security structure in close collaboration with the IT security team
• Collaborate with external security operation centers
• Advise our departments on all information security matters and act as the central point of contact for security issues
• Plan, manage, and lead projects and campaigns to raise awareness among our employees about security issues
• Create, maintain, and develop concepts, processes, and guidelines to strengthen our IT security

Preferred Qualifications

Ideally, have initial experience with Microsoft cloud infrastructures
