Summary
Join Encora as an IT Support professional and play a critical role in optimizing the organization's IT structure. Reporting to the CTO, you will collaborate with a fractional CISO and DevOps/Application Security team, leveraging your technical expertise and communication skills. This remote, full-time position requires 3+ years of experience in IT support. You will establish a structured technical support service, audit existing solutions (MDM, password management, Google Workspace), implement improvements, and develop new policies aligned with the NIST framework. You will also conduct security reviews, provide training, and draft recommendations on emerging technologies like AI. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
Requirements
- Proven experience in IT support and infrastructure management
- Strong understanding of IT security principles, including NIST framework implementation
- Ability to assess and audit IT systems and processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated experience in managing MDM solutions and improving automation
- Experience implementing policies for IT systems, security training, and employee education
- Familiarity with Google Workspace and its configurations
Responsibilities
- Establish a structured technical support service for staff
- Audit the current Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution for best practices, implement improvements, and increase automation in onboarding/offboarding processes
- Conduct security reviews for requested applications and identify unnecessary duplications
- Audit adoption rates of the password management tool, providing training or support for departments with low adoption
- Develop and implement policies and procedures aligned with the NIST framework, including expanding security training to incorporate phishing campaigns
- Draft recommendations for policies on emerging topics such as AI usage
- Audit and enhance Google Workspace configurations, improving onboarding/offboarding processes where necessary
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelorβs degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
