Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of Java and the Spring Framework

  • Experience with Git for version control and working in collaborative environments
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient backend services using Java and Spring Framework
  • Design and optimize databases, ensuring the integrity and performance of MySQL or other SQL-based systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features and address technical challenges
  • Integrate CI/CD pipelines to automate builds, tests, and deployments
  • Work with Docker and Kubernetes to containerize and orchestrate applications
  • Ensure high-quality code by adhering to best practices in software development, version control (Git), and testing
  • Contribute to system monitoring and troubleshooting efforts to maintain reliability
  • Collaborate on the documentation and implementation of APIs using tools like Swagger
  • Participate in the enhancement of observability through OpenTelemetry or monitoring tools like NewRelic
  • Explore cloud technologies, especially Azure, to improve infrastructure and application performance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Azure cloud services
  • Experience with API documentation tools like Swagger
  • Understanding of observability tools such as OpenTelemetry and NewRelic
  • Knowledge of cloud-native and distributed systems architecture
