Java Full Stack Developer

In this role, you will collaborate with clients to define their digital strategies, design and implement innovative digital solutions, and contribute to measurable business value. You will leverage your expertise in Java, React or Angular, and related technologies to build data-driven applications. The position requires 8+ years of experience and a strong foundation in computer science. The role is primarily backend focused (80%) with some frontend development (20%). Work location is remote or San Jose, CA (2-3 days in office).

Requirements

• Role: Java Full Stack Developer (React or Angular)
• Years of Experience: 8+ years

• 6+ years of software design and development experience
• Solid foundation in computer science with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design
• Excellent knowledge in practicing OOAD, architectural and design patterns, open-source platforms, RESTful Services, Web Technologies, frameworks, and software engineering methodologies
• Experience in object-oriented design methodology and large-scale application development in Java
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript framework (e.g. React, Backbone, AngularJS)
• Demonstrated ability to understand the business and ability to contribute to technology direction that contributes to measurable business improvements
• Ability to think out of the box in solving real world problems
• Excellent decision-making, communication and collaboration, analytical skills
• Strong expertise in agile development
• 80% on Backend & 20% Frontend

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to define their digital strategy and execution roadmap
• Design and implement differentiated digital solutions to help deliver measurable value
• Develop data-driven applications using an industry standard RDBMS, No-SQL (Mongo, Cassandra)
• Contribute to technology direction that contributes to measurable business improvements
• Solve real world problems

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with solutions such as Elastic Search, MapReduce, Hive, Pig, Kafka, Storm etc
