Requirements

• Motivated self starter with 5+ years of Java sw engineering experience
• Cloud development kits, Java development, Kubernetes, Docker, containerization, AWS services (examples, S3, SNS, SQS, etc.)
• Proficiency in writing clean, efficient, and well-structured Java code
• Familiarity with Java frameworks like Spring
• Knowledge of testing frameworks like Junit
• Familiarity with AOP frameworks and libraries, such as Spring AOP or AspectJ
• Understanding of build tools such as Apache Ant or Gradle to automate the build and deployment process
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment/Delivery
• Understanding and application of OOP concepts
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git
• Proficiency in using Java IDEs like Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA, or NetBeans for coding and debugging
• Skills in debugging code, identifying and fixing bugs, and optimizing code for performance
• The ability to analyze problems, break them down into smaller components, and develop solutions efficiently
• The ability to create clear and comprehensive code documentation for future maintainability

Responsibilities

• Upgrade java packages to JDK21
• Upgrade CDK versions from 1.0 to the latest version
• Assist with unblocking CI/CD pipelines and handling version discrepancies
