Summary

The job is for a Java/JEE Software Engineer to join a dynamic team at EUROPEAN DYNAMICS (ED) and work on challenging applications for major organizations in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. The position offers remote work and continuous coaching and training. Knowledge of German is desirable but not mandatory.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field or equivalent working experience
• Enthusiasm for programming and knowledge of Java/JEE
• Quality- and team-oriented
• English and German

Responsibilities

• Participating in the design and implementation of advanced web-based applications
• Designing, developing, testing, and maintaining large-scale applications
• Assuring effective team collaboration
• Adhering to software quality requirements
• Drafting technical documentation

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Java/JEE, front-end frameworks (e.g. Angular), web services (REST or SOAP), object-relational mapping (e.g. Hibernate), XML, and/or databases (e.g. SQL, ETL) desired
