Java/Kolin + Salesforce Engineer

Summary

Join Scalable Capital's cross-functional team and contribute to enhancing the effectiveness of the Customer Support team. As a BE/Salesforce Engineer, you will maintain and improve Salesforce solutions, build features in Scalable Capital BE services, create and optimize microservices and frontend code using TypeScript, React, and Node.js, and leverage AWS cloud and serverless services. You will write clean, testable, and well-documented code, prioritizing security. This role involves working with cutting-edge technologies and modern software development practices. The position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-growing Fintech startup and contribute to innovative services impacting many customers.

Requirements

• A university degree in a relevant field of study (Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) or a comparable practical experience
• At least 3 years of software development experience involving Salesforce AND Java/Kotlin/SpringBoot BE
• A passion for well architected, testable and documented code and an agile mindset
• Strong analytical thinking, both in the technical and in the product domain
• Crisp communication skills in English

Responsibilities

• Maintain and evolve our Salesforce solutions for Customer Support
• Build features in the Scalable Capital BE services on the domain of Customer Support and Self-Service
• Create, run and improve microservices as well as frontend code using TypeScript, React and Node.js
• Leverage AWS cloud and serverless services to build and run our platform efficiently
• Write clean, testable, maintainable and well-documented code and treat security as a first class citizen
• Work with cutting edge technologies and be part of modern software development practices (e.g. agile and self-managed teams, continuous integration and deployment, test automation, cloud-based infrastructure and tooling)

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of JavaScript/Typescript is a plus
• Background in the financial industry and financial software product development is an advantage
