Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Jet Charter Broker (a minimum of 5+ years of actual jet charter sales experience)
  • Recent history of selling trips that (annually) total in the millions of dollars (a must)
  • In-depth knowledge of private aviation and charter operations
  • Ability to independently identify likely sales leads
  • Proven track record of creating domestic and international air charter solutions
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Sharp and effective communication skills via phone, email and in person
  • Reap enjoyment from advancing towards goals and objectives in a competitive environment
  • Has a good balance between independent and team-oriented work

Responsibilities

  • Work with your network of charter clients to successfully introduce them to Blade's services
  • Pro-actively targeting your list through outbound sales calls, emails and visits (both face-to-face and virtual) and converting them from potential clients to Blade Clients
  • Lead generation calls to identify new potential Clients
  • Respond to charter pricing requests with accurate pricing in a timely and professional manner
  • Manage and build relationships with charter operators and high-net-worth private clients (to generate new business)
  • Working closely with flier relations, flier experience, flight operations, and corporate leadership to ensure flights are executed at the highest level of service and communications throughout
  • Work with our Ground Connect team on catering and ground transportation services
  • Accessible by phone outside of office hours, as needed, in a dynamic, on-demand industry (Receiving inbound requests for urgent charters virtually 24/7.)
  • Manage charter bookings from enquiry to completion
  • Identify and generate new business leads
