Join our team as an Electrical Foreman in this direct-hire, remote opportunity with nationwide travel. Requirements
- 5+ years working as a Journeyman Electrician in building construction, remodeling or construction project coordination
- Knowledge of all phases of building construction, including work commonly done by the various building crafts
- Knowledge of electrical systems
- Knowledge of building materials, tools, and machines
- Ability to read blueprints and specifications for buildings
- Ability to supervise/lead up to 5 others
- Working knowledge of circuitry, voltages (120, 208, 240, 277, 480) single phase, 3 phase, WYE & Delta power
- Familiarity with underground duct bank and wiring installations
- Must be able to pass state and local electrical licensing examinations
- Must be able to troubleshoot and diagnose issues within the electrical systems
- Must be able to read & understand construction documentation, i.e. blueprints, drawings, submittals
- The position requires standing, bending, reaching, lifting a majority of the workday
- Lift repetitively 50 pounds
- Climb ladders
- Work from scaffolding and lifts
- Drive a company vehicle (truck)
- Capable of driving up to 14 hours per day between job sites
- Other manual labor as required
Responsibilities
- Supervision and mentorship of apprentices and helpers. Monitor work progress
- Installation, maintenance, and repair of wiring, equipment, and electrical distribution systems
- Performs rough-in and finished electrical installation, tests, and maintenance on a variety of wiring, motors, relays, controls, pumps, fans, heaters, lighting, and other types of electrical equipment
- Handle all types of wire terminations
- Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install electrical conduit
- Pull wire through conduit
- Other duties as assigned
- Adhere to and instruct others on proper safety protocol
