Jr. Business Intelligence Analyst

Summary

The job description is for a Junior Business Intelligence Analyst at HomeLight who will be responsible for developing data transformations, owning key performance indicators, and delivering data insights and visualizations. The candidate should have a quantitative degree, SQL experience, and knowledge of data visualization tools.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in a quantitative field – Analytics, Finance, Industrial Engineering or Statistics preferred
• At least 1 year of experience in writing, tuning, and manipulating data with SQL queries. A strong foundation on SQL is necessary
• At least 1 year experience in building reports/dashboards on tools such as Excel, Tableau, Looker, and Periscope

Responsibilities

• Developing data transformations to support downstream analytics and data needs
• Owning/monitoring key performance indicators
• Delivering key data insights, and visualization for HomeLight

Preferred Qualifications

• Python/R experience is a plus
• Strong data visualization skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience in the sales, operations, online real estate, ecommerce, or online business environment industries is preferred
