Summary

We're seeking an entry-level Customer Support Engineer to create and manage document templates for a growing company providing innovative document automation solutions. This role involves key responsibilities such as creating, fixing, and managing document templates, updating client configurations, collaborating with team members, and continuous learning. Required skills include exceptional Microsoft Word skills, strong attention to detail, ability to understand logic problems, excellent communication skills, self-starter mentality, basic programming exposure, and a strong desire to learn and grow in a technical role.

Requirements

  • Exceptional Microsoft Word skills, including advanced knowledge of tables, margins, and complex formatting
  • Strong attention to detail, especially in document formatting and structure
  • Ability to understand and work with logic problems (e.g., 'If this, then that' scenarios)
  • Excellent communication skills, crucial for our remote work environment
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to manage tasks independently
  • Basic programming exposure (e.g. HTML, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, CSS)
  • Strong desire to learn and grow in a technical role

Responsibilities

  • Create, fix, and manage document templates using docxtemplater syntax
  • Update client configurations, including form questions and workflow steps
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality solutions and fixes to support clients' ongoing needs
  • Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Git version control
  • Experience with IDEs like VS Code
  • Basic understanding of programming concepts
  • Knowledge of insurance industry processes and documentation
