Summary
Join Instructure as a Jr HRIS Systems Analyst to support the configuration and maintenance of our HRIS systems, primarily Workday. You will align with internal customers to enhance and maintain Workday and related systems, providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities include supporting system issues, defining processes, creating workflows, troubleshooting integrations, building reports, managing projects, and ensuring data integrity. You will need 1-3 years of Workday or similar HRIS system administration experience, understanding of system integrations and HR processes, and strong customer support skills. Preferred candidates will have Workday experience and knowledge of human resource processes. Requirements
- 1-3 years experience administering Workday or other similar HRIS systems
- Understanding of integration between related systems
- Experience working with human resource processes
- Understanding of business processes and approval flows
- A great customer support mentality
- Collaborate with functional team
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve system issues
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once without getting too stressed
- A definite self-starter!!!
- A basic understanding of how to work iteratively and within an Agile development methodology
Responsibilities
- Aligning and planning with internal customers to enhance and maintain Workday and other related systems
- Maintaining a high level of customer service with internal customers
- Being an advocate for simplicity, automation, and standard functionality
- Supporting system issues relating to all aspects of HR processes in Workday, modules include HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Absence, Time Tracking, etc
- Helping to define and re-define processes in our system
- Creating and updating workflows that pertain to approvals and business processes
- Troubleshooting integration issues between various systems
- Building and maintaining reports, dashboards, and queries
- Managing projects and process improvements
- Help maintain data integrity
- Make recommendations for process improvements and innovative solutions
- Perform HRIS system maintenance, including assisting in the review, testing, and implementation of system upgrades or patches
Preferred Qualifications
- SOX compliance experience
- Some experience in Workday and a knowledge of human resource processes
