Jr. Retail Store Designer

Summary

The Jr. Retail Store Designer will support Squishable retail locations by developing visual communication, design direction, and merchandising concepts. This position requires travel and proficiency in specific software. The salary range is $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 based on experience and benefits include 401(k) matching, dental insurance, medical insurance, vision insurance, and paid time off.

Requirements

• Proficient in Sketchup or other visualization software
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), and Google Suite
• Minimum of 1 - 2 years of Visual Merchandising and Store Design experience

Responsibilities

• Support the Head of Store Design to create new store fixture floorplans and design documents
• Assist in designing and sourcing new store fixtures and visual props, problem-solving design challenges as they arise
• Create and distribute seasonal and one-off merchandising documents, including ongoing directives and updates to visual elements and signage
• Assist with training store managers and associates on visual standards and strategy
• Help to maintain store standards by monitoring and providing regular feedback about individual store locations
