Jr Software Tester/QA Analyst

Summary

The job is for a Jr Software Tester/QA Analyst with 1-2 years of experience in software testing tasks, including analyzing requirements, coordinating with cross-functional teams, using SQL and Agile methodology. The job is hybrid and located in Richmond, VA, with a duration of at least 12 months.

Requirements

• 2 Years Experience analyzing business and technical requirements in order to develop test plans, scenarios, and Test Cases in Gherkins format
• 2 Years Working knowledge of Agile development methodology
• Experience in Integration, regression and other types of testing as required
• 2 Years Experience working in TFS/ Azure DevOps
• Experience using SQL and other database management tools to write and execute SQL queries
• 2 Years Experience in VA Tax Advantage Revenue (ARMS) and VTOL system

Responsibilities

• Analyze business and technical requirements to develop test plans, scenarios, and Test Cases in Gherkins format
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and provide input on testability and create test strategies

Preferred Qualifications

Language for Automation Tool – Ruby/Java/ Cucumber/ Selenium Web Driver (Good to have)
