Jr-Mid DevOps Engineer

Summary

Join Encora as a Jr-Mid DevOps Engineer and contribute to designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate with teams, lead technical projects, mentor junior engineers, and improve software development practices. This remote position based in Colombia requires experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. You will provide US daytime support and focus on building automated processes, incident management, and continuous improvement. The role involves setting up tools, infrastructure, and processes for DevOps operations.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in a DevOps role with a strong focus on AWS & Kubernetes
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)
• Experience with containerization technologies, especially Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IAC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible
• Hands-on experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools
• Scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar)
• Troubleshooting skills and the ability to work well in a collaborative environment

Responsibilities

• Provide US daytime support to development teams under the guidance of Senior DevOps engineers/lead
• Setting up tools and required infrastructure
• Setting development, testing, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation
• Building automated processes wherever possible
• Incidence management and root cause analysis
• Coordination and communication within the team and with customers
• Deploying appropriate CI/CD tools
• Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline)

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Helm charts
• Problem-solving, analytical skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
