Junior Analyst

Summary

Join IT Concepts, Inc. as a Junior Analyst – Software Asset Management to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) in managing their Hardware and Software Asset Management (HAM/SAM) programs within the ServiceNow platform. This 10-month position, which can be performed remotely within the United States, requires supporting the implementation and ongoing management of HAM/SAM, assisting with data migration and configuration, contributing to workflow and report development, and collaborating with VA teams. You will need an AA or 2-year technical school degree (or equivalent experience), experience with MS Office Suite, understanding of IT asset management, data analysis skills, and strong communication abilities. A Public Trust Clearance is required, and US citizenship or Green Card Holder status is mandatory. Requirements

• AA or 2-year technical school in business discipline or similar discipline is required. (4 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education)
• Experience with MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Understanding of IT asset management principles and best practices
• Experience with data analysis and reporting
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance
• Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder

Responsibilities

• Support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) in the implementation and ongoing management of their Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) programs within the ServiceNow platform
• Assist in the data migration and configuration of the ServiceNow HAM and SAM modules to align with VA's specific requirements and processes
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of asset management workflows, reports, and dashboards within ServiceNow
• Assist in the discovery and normalization of hardware and software assets across the VA enterprise
• Support the creation and implementation of asset management policies and procedures
• Collaborate with VA technical teams and stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and system integrity
• Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and training activities related to the ServiceNow HAM and SAM implementation

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge or experience with Hardware Asset Management and Software Asset Management within ServiceNow HAM/SAM Pro modules
• Familiarity with ServiceNow or other IT service management (ITSM) platforms
• Experience working in a government or healthcare environment
• Experience with ServiceNow HAM and SAM modules
• ITIL Foundation certification
