Junior Billing and Collection Specialist

Summary

Join our Finance team as a driven Billing and Collection Specialist to support media companies in their growth by ensuring efficient billing processes and safeguarding revenues across multiple global entities.

Requirements

• Hold a Bachelors degree in Economics, Finance or a related field, or show relevant work experience for this role
• Prioritize tasks and work in an organized, structured way
• Be tech-savvy and have experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
• Have a keen eye for detail, an analytical mindset, and be able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Be flexible and result-driven, with a hands-on mentality
• Have strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects
• Be fluent in English, with proficiency in Dutch or French being a strong advantage, both spoken and written

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with teams to accurately and promptly structure complex projects and contracts in our reporting tool, ensuring a swift and accurate billing and revenue recognition process
• Perform account reconciliations, investigating and resolving any discrepancies or inquiries, including validating outstanding questions for Project Managers, Account Managers and Business Development
• Maintain historical customer payment plans and collaborate with Sales, Operations, or Legal to resolve outstanding disputes
• Contact customers to collect overdue bills (credit collection is about 10% of this role)
