Junior Bookkeeper

Summary

Join Candex, a rapidly growing global B2B fintech company, as a Junior Bookkeeper! Support our expansion by maintaining financial records and transactions, managing accounting software, and overseeing bank reconciliations. This fully remote position involves handling communications with banks and customers worldwide, reconciling reports, and collaborating on projects. You'll report to the Treasury Operations Team Lead and contribute to our global payments operations. The ideal candidate possesses bookkeeping experience, familiarity with accounting software (NetSuite preferred), and strong communication skills. Requirements

• Bookkeeping experience
• Experience working with global customers
• Familiarity with accounting softwares and an advantage to proficiency in NetSuite and Microsoft Office
• Strong written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Review and manage financial discrepancies
• Handle communications with banks around the world, providing support
• Handle communications with customers around the world
• Recording and accepting payments from customers
• Reconciling reports to third-party records such as bank statements
• Work jointly with the business interfaces as part of ongoing work procedures and special projects

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with tax laws in various countries (VAT, WHT, etc.)
• Familiarity with a wide range of financial transactions including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• A team player
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Self starter, resourceful, self learner and curious
• Tech savvy - able to learn new software
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, work under pressure and meet deadlines
