Summary
Join Townsquare Media Group as a Junior Data Analyst and contribute to a fast-growing analytics team. This remote position offers the chance to develop hands-on experience in data quality, client support, and business intelligence. You will support the analytics team in maintaining high standards of data quality and client service, working on campaign support, reporting tasks, and platform management. The role involves ensuring accurate campaign setup and maintenance, serving as a point of contact for advertisers, mastering the reporting platform, and assisting with dashboard creation. You will also interpret analytics data, manage tickets, and collaborate with the team. This position provides a clear path for advancement within data, marketing, or product teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Marketing, Statistics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Analytical mind with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; experience with Qlik, SQL, or other BI tools is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable explaining data concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Eager to learn new analytic technologies and business processes
Responsibilities
- Campaign Quality Assurance: Ensure advertiser campaigns are accurately set up and maintained, delivering on client objectives with precision
- Advertiser & Partner Support: Serve as a trusted point of contact for advertisers and partners, addressing questions and providing campaign and reporting support
- Platform Expertise & Training: Master our proprietary reporting platform, and train sellers, advertisers, and media partners to maximize their use and insights
- Dashboard & BI Support: Assist with dashboard buildouts using business intelligence tools (Qlik; SQL familiarity is a plus, but not required)
- Analytics Task Management: Complete daily analytics checks to accurately map campaigns to the correct advertiser, product, and tactic
- Post-Sale Analytics & Reporting: Interpret analytics data and recap reports post-sale, helping drive renewals, upsells, and ongoing client confidence
- Ticket Resolution: Manage assigned tickets across data & analytics queues on both the pre-sale research and post-sale support sides
- Continuous Learning: Stay committed to professional growth and adapt strategies to meet evolving market needs
- Team Collaboration: Participate in regular virtual team meetings with the camera on to foster stronger collaboration and engagement, work side-by-side with the analytics team, sharing insights and best practices to elevate collective performance
- Other Projects: Take on additional projects as directed by your supervisor
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Qlik, SQL, or other BI tools

- Base Pay: $55,000 based on experience
