Junior Data Engineer

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience working as a Data Engineer
• Proficiency in Python, Java, Scala, and SQL
• Experience with Hadoop and Spark
• Familiarity with ETL tools (Fivetran, Airflow, Dagster, Apache NiFi, Talend, Informatica)
• Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Strong capabilities in building, troubleshooting, optimizing, and monitoring data pipelines
• Knowledge of Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, and NoSQL databases
• Data modeling and database design proficiency

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cutting-edge data pipelines, seamlessly moving data from diverse sources to our robust storage systems
• Build and manage data warehouses, including selecting technology, designing schemas, and optimizing queries for peak performance
• Ensure data quality and consistency by establishing data validation rules and implementing cleaning processes
• Create data models to define relationships between entities, enabling insightful analysis and reporting
• Develop data processing pipelines, converting raw data into usable formats using Python, Java, Scala, and SQL
• Set up robust monitoring and logging systems to track performance, detect issues, and troubleshoot problems
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand their needs and ensure data availability and accessibility
