Summary

Join Sword as a Data Processor in their Engineering Information Services team, responsible for managing engineering information and building digital twins for the process engineering sector. Key tasks include accurate data entry, sourcing equipment-related information, maintaining data status, and reviewing engineering data and documents.

Requirements

• A keen eye for detail with the ability to ensure accurate and detailed data entry
• Excellent IT skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office products
• Good organisational skills with the ability to multitask
• Excellent communication skills
• A willingness to learn, using a solution focused approach to drive results

Responsibilities

• Accurate data entry of often complex technical information
• Maintaining accuracy and consistency on some of the repetitive elements of the role
• Sourcing equipment related information from some manufacturers, especially that relating to obsolete equipment
• Data entry of a wide range of engineering information such as tag registers, document registers, technical data, parts lists, model information
• Efficient sourcing of information related to process engineering equipment
• Maintain up to date information on the status of the engineering information being processed
• Review and check of a wide range of engineering data and documents

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience of working in a technical environment e.g. Drawing office, maintenance records, technical sales office, purchasing of engineering equipment
