Junior Frontend Engineer

Summary

Join OLX's team as a Junior Frontend Engineer and work remotely from Portugal. Collaborate with engineers and product teams to build scalable solutions using a mixed tech stack based on a microservices architecture on Amazon Web Services. Requirements

• A curious and eager learner who enjoys understanding how things work and is excited to take ownership of their work
• Someone eager to understand how things work and embrace a "you build it, you run it, you own it" mindset
• A developer with some experience in JavaScript/ Node.js (bonus points for TypeScript) and familiar with React.js
• A problem solver who approaches challenges with a mix of technical thinking and a user-first mindset to build meaningful solutions
• A collaborative team player who is open to discussions, cross-team collaboration, and sharing knowledge with others

Responsibilities

• Contributing to projects by writing code, participating in planning, and supporting the execution of technical tasks as you develop your skills

• Bringing fresh ideas and curiosity, exploring new ways to solve problems, and helping implement software solutions with guidance from the team
• Asking questions, sharing ideas, and gradually taking ownership of the product as you gain experience
