Summary

Barbaricum is hiring a Junior Full Stack Software Engineer to support CDAO's AI/ML and data-driven initiatives. The role involves developing prototypes for attribute-based access control systems, integrating with relevant systems, writing documentation, and having strong communication and technical writing skills. A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field is required.

Requirements

• Active DoD Secret Clearance Required
• Programming experience with Python, JavaScript, and at least one more programming language (Java is a plus)
• Strong communications skills; you will be required to proactively engage fellow CDAO members both inside and outside of your team
• Great technical writing skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field

Responsibilities

• Develop prototypes for attribute-based access control systems
• Integrate with relevant systems and standards including, but not limited to, Open Policy Agent, XACML, Keycloak, Active Directory, LDAP, and OpenTDF
• Prototype intuitive browser-based user interfaces that enable users to quickly understand and use the ABAC paradigm of access management
• Write documentation describing how the ABAC prototypes can be adapted and utilized by other CDAO programs

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience implementing single sign-on, enterprise access management, and best practices in web security is preferred
