Junior GL Accountant

Summary

Join a vibrant, international accounting firm with presence in multiple countries as an accountant. Responsibilities include conducting audits, performing general ledger entries, account reconciliations, intercompany reconciliation process management, bank postings, and more. Requirements include a degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics, fluency in English, good MS Office skills, especially Excel, knowledge of SAP is a plus, 2-4 years of experience in accounting, good communication skills, problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct audits on the accuracy of our financial information
• Provide assurance that our accounting practices adhere to regulations
• Perform general ledger entries and account reconciliations
• Oversee and manage the intercompany reconciliation process for assigned entities
• Handle bank postings, ensure accurate cash flow report preparation
• Process intercompany loan transactions with precision and attention to detail
• Record accruals and other financial entries with accuracy and timeliness
• Maintain comprehensive accounting records, execute month-end closing, and prepare reporting packages for several small holding entities
• Monitor account balances and investigate discrepancies using SAP and Excel, ensuring data integrity
• Uphold a strong control environment by documenting SOX procedures within areas of responsibility
• Collaborate seamlessly with Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), and teams across different entities and countries
