Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a recruitment strategy to attract junior golfers to Sora Schools
- Identify key regions, tournaments, and organizations where elite junior golfers compete
- Track and manage a pipeline of prospective students and families
- Build relationships with junior golfers, their families, coaches, trainers, golf academies, and organizations such as AJGA, U.S. Kids Golf, PGA Junior League, and local/regional golf associations
- Act as the primary ambassador for Sora Schools within the junior golf community
- Attend junior golf tournaments, showcases, and events to connect with prospective students and families
- Host virtual and in-person information sessions highlighting Sora Schools' flexible and customized approach to education for student-athletes
- Collaborate with marketing to create tailored messaging and materials to appeal to the junior golf community
- Serve as a trusted resource to families navigating the balance between academics and high-level athletics
- Communicate Sora’s value proposition clearly and passionately, guiding families through the enrollment process
- Identify and pursue partnerships with golf academies, training centers, and industry leaders to position Sora Schools as the premier online education provider for junior golfers
- Stay informed on trends in junior golf, such as college recruitment, tournament schedules, and student-athlete demands
- Provide feedback to the Sora Schools team to continuously refine programs for student-athletes
Preferred Qualifications
- Have a Bachelor’s degree in education, sports management, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Have previous experience in recruitment, admissions, coaching, or the junior golf world
- Possess strong knowledge of the junior golf ecosystem, including organizations, tournaments, and college pathways
- Possess excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Have the ability to travel to golf tournaments and events as needed
