Junior HSE Specialist Plant Technician

Summary

The job is for a Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Manager in a production plant. The role involves managing the H&S system, environmental system, and supporting Facility Manager functions. The position requires a university degree in Occupational Risk Prevention, 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, fluency in English, and specific skills.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Manage the Health and Safety System of the Plant
• Control the implementation of the procedures of the H&S Manual at the plant and manage the documental Safety System
• Manage the H&S training needs of all personnel at the plant
• Control CAE’s implementation (“Coordinación de Actividades Empresariales”)
• Manage the Medical Follow-up of all the employees at the plant
• Supervise the tasks of the SPA’s technician
• Investigate all the accidents, incidents, near misses, lost time, etc. of the plant and propose corrective actions
• Perform the Emergency Drills and train all the emergency members
• Advise internal Stakeholders (Industrialization, Processes, etc…) in all the projects that need Safety point of view
• Manage the Environmental System of the Plant
• Control the implementation of the procedures of the Environmental Manual at the plant and manage the documental System
• Manage and improve the waste generation of the plant
• Perform all legal requirements related to environmental regulations (“Declaración anual de residuos, etc.)
