Junior Indirect Sourcing Specialist, Finland
Summary
The Junior Indirect Sourcing Specialist will support the growth of ICEYE by handling daily procurement and sourcing tasks, receiving and logging goods and services, sourcing new vendors, and managing contract documentation. The role is part of the Indirect Sourcing team and requires a relevant educational background, proficiency in English, commercial background with an understanding of financial principles, strong team collaboration skills, keen attention to detail, a customer service-oriented mindset, and an organized approach to work. Preferred attributes include prior experience as a supply chain specialist, knowledge in contracts, negotiations, or contract laws, Finnish skills due to cooperation with local vendors, and knowledge in reporting and analysis.
Requirements
- Relevant educational background, such as a degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
- Commercial background with an understanding of financial principles

- Keen attention to detail with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Responsibilities
- Handling the day-to-day Indirect Sourcing and procurement operations
- Purchasing goods and services
- Evaluating vendor performance and maintaining supplier relationships
- Sourcing and selecting new vendors
- RFI/RFP/RFQ, orders follow-up, quality claims for indirect sourcing categories
- Cooperating with internal customers and assisting in planning upcoming sourcing and procurement activities
- Preparing and handling order documents
- Inbound & outbound logistics incl. receiving, shipping, and packing
- Verifying invoices
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience as a supply chain specialist, buyer, or similar role, particularly involving global and local indirect procurement
- Knowledge in contracts, negotiations, or contract laws
- Knowledge in reporting and analysis
- Finnish skills preferred due to cooperation with local vendors
