Junior Integration Engineer

Summary

The job is for a Junior Integration Engineer with an understanding of XML. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, 0-2 years of experience with XML, SOAP/REST APIs, SQL, and programming languages like Python, Java, or .NET, and strong analytical skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 0-2 years of experience working with XML, XSLT, XSD, and DTD
• Familiarity with SOAP/REST APIs. and experience integrating XML with web services
• Basic knowledge of SQL and databases
• Proficiency in a programming language such as Python, Java, or .NET
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Develop, edit, and maintain well-structured XML documents for various projects
• Assist with integrating XML data into systems using APIs (SOAP/REST) and related technologies like JSON
• Help develop and maintain XML Schemas (XSD), Document Type Definitions (DTDs), and other standards for data validation
• Use XSLT (Extensible Stylesheet Language Transformations) to transform XML data according to project needs
• Support seamless data integration across applications, databases, and middleware
• Test and troubleshoot XML-related applications to ensure data integrity
• Maintain detailed documentation of XML structures, schemas, and integration workflows
• Stay up-to-date with XML and data integration technologies to improve processes and workflows

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with JSON. and other data exchange formats
• Familiarity with data integration tools. like Talend, Informatica, or similar platforms
• Experience with web services. (SOAP/REST) and how XML integrates with them
