Junior Murex Reporting Developer

Summary

The job is for a Junior Murex Reporting Developer at Capco Poland, focusing on Datamart development and experience in Murex or related platforms. The role offers opportunities to build and test Datamart reports, debug and enhance existing systems, and gain exposure to global financial markets.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of demonstrable experience as a Datamart Developer on Murex or related platforms
• 1-3 years of experience in Unix/Shell scripting
• High competence in SQL/PLSQL and RDBMS concepts
• Good understanding of Murex setup and configurations in Windows and Unix environments
• Good understanding of exchange-traded and OTC derivatives, particularly Credit and Rates products
• Knowledge of core Murex functionalities and MXML exchange is a plus

Responsibilities

• Independently design, build, and test Datamart reports within the Murex platform
• Modify and enhance existing complex Datamart objects, using strong analytical and debugging skills
• Develop and debug shell scripts, navigating through existing code and understanding dependencies independently
• Utilize strong competence in SQL/PLSQL and RDBMS concepts to ensure effective data processing
• Maintain a good understanding of Murex setup and configurations in Windows and Unix operating systems
• Apply a solid understanding of both exchange-traded and OTC derivatives, with specific focus on Credit and Rates products, and their life cycles

Preferred Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with clients
• Ability to handle multiple tasks with competing priorities effectively
• Experience working with global clients and multi-cultural teams is an advantage
