Junior Prop Trader

Summary

The job is for a beginner Prop Trader responsible for researching, analyzing, and executing trades in equities and options markets. The employee will work closely with experienced traders to develop trading strategies and risk management techniques. This opportunity offers valuable experience in the financial industry.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics or a related field
• B2 + English
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for the financial markets and trading

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research and analysis to identify trading opportunities
• Develop and implement trading strategies based on market conditions
• Execute trades in a disciplined and controlled manner
• Monitor and manage risk exposure in accordance with firm guidelines
• Collaborate with senior traders to learn and develop new trading techniques
• Maintain accurate records of trades and performance metrics

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python is a plus
• Prior trading experience is not required, but would be an advantage
