Junior Property & Funds Control Analyst

Summary

ARETUM is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Property & Funds Control Analyst to manage and track property and funds related to government contracts. The role involves applying USSGL, developing/advising documentation of policies or procedures, and independently managing key operational accounting activities. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numerical data
• Knowledge of government regulations and policies regarding property management and funds control
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Perform, reconcile, analyze, and monitor the full scope of financial activities in compliance with Federal Accounting Standards Advisory Board (FASAB), the U.S. Treasury, Office of Management and Budget, and other accounting standard-setting organizations
• Develop/advise documentation of new or existing policies or procedures to improve accounting processes
• Independently manage key operational accounting activities, such as training less experienced staff, recommending corrective actions, developing/reviewing financial policies and guidelines

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in property management or financial analysis is a plus
