Remote Junior Python Developer

Summary

The candidate should have 1+ years of professional experience as a Python Developer, understanding of REST APIs, knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and associated tools, knowledge of the entire software lifecycle, experience with source control tools like Git, GitLab, Gerrit, a creative approach towards solving technical problems, and experience working in an Agile Scrum team. Bonus skills include experience with testing frameworks like PyTest, unittest, Nose, Robot Framework and basic knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

Requirements

• 1+ years of professional experience as a Python Developer
• Understanding of REST APIs
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and associated tools
• Knowledge of the entire software lifecycle (Development, Build, Test, Integration)
• Experience with source control tools: Git, GitLab, Gerrit

Responsibilities

• Participate in daily standups as well as backlog refinement, sprint planning and retrospective sessions
• Work on development items in current sprint according to directions from the architects/team lead
• Assist with fixing bugs and continuous improvement of existing code base
• Assist with maintaining and improving the deployment and monitoring of the developed applications

• Creative approach towards solving technical problems
• Experience working in an Agile Scrum team
• Experience with testing frameworks like PyTest, unittest, Nose, Robot Framework
