Summary

The job is for a Quantitative Trader in the energy markets at DV Energy, a division of the DV Group. Requirements

• Master's in quantitative finance or related field
• Possess a strong work ethic and be able to learn quickly in a fast paced, high-pressure environment
• FX or precious metals experience
• Maintain composure and communicate clearly when under pressure
• Ability to succeed working as part of a diversified team
• Strong understanding of math, probability, and statistics
• Coding skills primarily in Python are a must
• Advanced aptitude for problem solving

Responsibilities

• Learn proprietary methodologies and trading systems within a systematic environment that support an established trading business
• Build systematic strategies, conduct backtesting, and analysis using Python
• Engage in both trading execution and automation development work to enhance overall trading efficiency
• Enhance existing trades; identify and pursue new opportunities
• Liaise between trading group and internal company departments
