Summary

Join FrontierView's global research team as a remote research contractor supporting the monitoring of economic, political, and regulatory developments in developed Europe. This short-term contract (6-12 months), potentially extendable, requires 0-2 years of experience. You will contribute to syndicated content for senior executives at multinational organizations, working closely with the commercial team. The role involves analyzing macroeconomic and political factors impacting businesses, creating impactful presentations, and engaging with C-suite executives. A passion for consumer goods and retail, strong communication skills, and adaptability are essential. This position offers exposure to high-level decision-making processes within major multinational corporations.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree from a top-tier academic institution
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Europe through academic and/or professional research experience. An understanding of the current socio-political and economic environment in the region is particularly key
  • Exceptional communication skills in English (writing, editing, and presenting)
  • Strong economics knowledge, demonstrated through academic coursework or practical experience. Candidates should be able to apply macroeconomic principles to real-life country developments and draw conclusions about future trends and implications
  • Demonstrated research experience (in academic or professional setting) including hypothesis-testing, structuring complex research projects, primary and secondary research, survey-building, and other research techniques
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Demonstrated ability to cover a variety of topics and issues, including unfamiliar ones

Responsibilities

  • Conducting primary and secondary research to monitor economic developments and at times consumer and retail sector developments in the Europe region, and analyzing their implications on multinational companies
  • Supporting the creation of analysis and presentations that advise high level executives in multinational companies on business implications of economic and political developments in the Europe region
  • Writing research deliverables that are concise and impactful for a senior executive reader
  • Monitoring and updating data related to the macroeconomics and at times the consumer sector in European markets

Preferred Qualifications

  • A Master’s degree from a top-tier academic institution
  • Familiarity with quantitative economic analysis
  • Personal experience in Europe, including traveling, studying, or working in key markets in the region
