Junior Software Engineer

Requirements

• You are curious about how things work and you have the "you build it, you run it, you own it" mentality
• You are interested in search, ranking, and machine learning algorithms
• You have first software development experience (ideally with Kotlin)
• You are familiar with relational databases as well as non-relational databases, e.g. MySQL, DynamoDB, Redis, Memcached
• You can think from a user perspective — it's essential not only to know how to seek a technical problem but also to understand why
• You are a team player, experienced in cross-hub collaborations and discussions with various stakeholders
• You are excited about learning from more experienced folks

Responsibilities

• Work on the active development of new features (Kotlin)
• Constantly improve your skills by attending internal and external workshops, as well as learning from your buddy and experienced team members
• Be part of a backend community that actually cares about the product and good practices

Preferred Qualifications

It's great if you previously worked with Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab, CI/CD, AWS, ScyllaDB, Solr or Terraform
