Junior Treasury Associate

Summary

Aethir is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Treasury Associate to support their finance team in managing treasury activities, including cash flow, transactions, reconciliations, reports, and risk management. The ideal candidate has a background in Finance, Accounting, or Economics, with 1-2 years of experience in treasury, finance, or accounting roles; experience in the cryptocurrency industry is a plus.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• 1-2 years of experience in treasury, finance, or accounting roles; experience in the cryptocurrency industry is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Responsibilities

• Cash Management: Assist in daily cash management activities, including monitoring of cash flow and ensuring adequate liquidity across wallets and accounts
• Transaction Processing: Support the processing of treasury-related transactions, including payments, transfers, and currency exchanges
• Reconciliation: Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of crypto and fiat accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of records
• Reporting: Assist in preparing regular treasury reports, including cash position, forecast, and variance analysis
• Risk Management: Support in identifying and managing financial risks related to currency fluctuations and liquidity
• Compliance: Ensure all treasury activities comply with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements
• Ad-hoc Finance Projects: Support various ad-hoc finance projects as needed, including analysis, research, and process improvements
• Continuous Improvement: Assist in developing and implementing treasury policies, procedures, and tools to improve efficiency and control
• Collaboration: Work closely with the finance, accounting, and operations teams to support treasury-related initiatives and projects

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic understanding of financial instruments, cash management, and treasury operations
• Familiarity with cryptocurrency wallets, exchanges, and blockchain technology is advantageous
