Junior Trust & Safety Investigator

Join Turo as a Trust & Safety Junior Investigator supporting our vibrant collection of car hosts and guests who inspire and fuel us every day. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and executing processes critical to ensuring the safety and security of the Turo community and marketplace.

Responsibilities

• Proudly support the Trust & Safety team for escalations from customer support, claims, leadership, and law enforcement
• Provide outstanding support to the valued members of the Turo community in the US, Canada, UK, France and Australia
• Independently manage and prioritize assigned caseload from start to finish with excellent follow-through
• Assist the investigations team in conducting detailed investigations and execute the appropriate strategy for each case type; assist with interviews of persons of interest and potential victims
• Provide direct assistance to the investigations team throughout the investigative process
• Collect information, documentation, and evidence associated with investigations
• Develop a general understanding of risk signals, review user accounts and transactions
• Communicate case developments to the investigations team and management to drive continuous improvement
• Work with and foster relationships with a valued network of law enforcement, external partners, and investigators
• Support the team with special projects assigned by management
