Junior/Medior DevOps Engineer

Summary

The job involves working as a DevOps Engineer at Tracab to ensure the reliability and improvement of sports broadcasting solutions. Required skills include software or release engineering experience, understanding complex releasing systems, algorithmization and scripting abilities, CI/CD software basics, Docker knowledge, basic cloud provider experience (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and familiarity with both Windows and Linux. Additional beneficial skills include experience with releasing various applications, SQL, noSQL databases, MQs, Kubernetes, advanced release concepts, large-scale or distributed systems, SOA, Atlassian softwares, and C++, Java, C#/.NET, or JS/TS/NodeJS application experience.

Requirements

• Software or release engineering experience / basics or interest
• Ability to understand and work with complex releasing systems
• Algorithmization and scripting ability (Groovy, Python, PowerShell, Bash or any programming language)
• Basics and willingness to learn with CI/CD software (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, any other similar automation software)
• Basics and willingness to learn with Docker (including creating images, Docker networking and Docker Compose)
• Basic experience with some cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Windows and Linux basics (we are working on both OS)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with releasing C++, Java, C#/.NET, or JS/TS/NodeJS applications
• Experience with SQL, noSQL databases, or MQs
• Experience with Kubernetes
• Advanced release concepts experience - releases of SaaS, releases to cloud, feature flagging, canary releases
• Experience with large-scale or distributed systems, SOA
• Experience with Atlassian softwares (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
