Summary

Ryz Labs is seeking a skilled Kotlin Backend Engineer to join their technology team. The engineer will design and implement server-side applications, work closely with cross-functional teams, and have experience in backend development with Kotlin and functional programming. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field and proficiency in RESTful APIs and database management are required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience in backend development with Kotlin
• Experience with functional programming and design patterns
• Familiarity with frameworks and libraries such as Akka, Play, or Spring Boot
• Strong understanding of database management and performant SQL
• Proficiency in designing RESTful APIs and integrating with external APIs
• Solid understanding of software engineering practices and agile methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
