KYC Analyst

Summary

The job is for a remote KYC Analyst at Bitfinex, whose primary role is to support the KYC Onboarding Team, ensuring timely completion of KYC reviews and appending relevant information. The incumbent should have strong communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, critical thinking, attention to detail, and basic knowledge of blockchain technology.

Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (incl. creating pivot tables)
• Demonstrated critical thinking skills (decision-making)
• Demonstrated attention to detail
• Basic knowledge of blockchain technology

Responsibilities

Provide administrative and analytical support to the KYC Onboarding Team to ensure KYC reviews are completed in a timely manner and all applicable information is appended to each case file

Preferred Qualifications

• Secondary education (University or College Preferred)
• Experience in KYC analytical functions
• Introductory level AML experience, incl. customer and enhanced due diligence (CDD/EDD), AML/CTF/Sanctions Investigations, SAR/STR reporting
• Legal, regulatory, and banking/financial experience is a plus
