Summary
Join Global InfoTek, a leader in DoD AI technologies, as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Large Language Models (LLMs). You will provide expert guidance on developing, evaluating, and deploying LLMs for various applications. This role involves close collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to align LLM capabilities with business goals. Extensive experience (5+ years) with LLMs and natural language processing is required, along with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field. You will lead LLM design, development, and optimization, staying current with the latest research. The position requires strong analytical and communication skills and proficiency in Python and relevant libraries.
Requirements
- Have extensive experience (5+ years) working with LLMs and natural language processing techniques
- Hold a Bachelorโs or Masterโs degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Computational Linguistics, or a related field
- Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to write technical white papers
- Be proficient in programming languages such as Python and familiar with libraries like Hugging Face Transformers, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
- Have a deep understanding of language modeling concepts, architectures (e.g., GPT, BERT), and their applications
- Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Have excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Be eligible for Secret Clearance
- Be a US Citizen
Responsibilities
- Provide expert guidance on developing, evaluating, writing white papers, and deploying LLMs for various applications such as text generation, sentiment analysis, chatbots, and more
- Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to align LLM capabilities with business goals and user needs
- Lead the design, development, and optimization of LLMs for diverse applications
- Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in the field of natural language processing and large language models
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product teams to define requirements and specifications for LLM applications
- Evaluate existing LLM frameworks and recommend modifications to enhance efficiency and performance
- Conduct training workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions to educate team members on LLM technologies and best practices
- Assist in building and maintaining documentation regarding LLM projects, algorithms, and methodologies
- Implement best practices for model training, fine-tuning, and deployment in real-world scenarios
- Analyze user feedback and experiment data to refine models and improve user experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Have experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) for deploying ML solutions
- Have previous experience in mentoring or leading AI/ML projects
