Join EMS of Virginia as a Licensed-Eligible Community Based Counselor and provide Intensive In-home Counseling and Mental Health Skill Building Services in the greater Richmond area. We offer FREE supervision toward licensure on a leadership track for full-time team members.

Requirements

Licensed or licensed-eligible in Virginia as an LCSW or LPC

Responsibilities

• See clients in the community such as the client's home
• Provide 1-1 mental health counseling related to goals
• Provide skill building to adults with serious mental illness
• Take adult clients to appointments
• Take adult clients to link with resources in the community
• Case Management to ensure client's basic needs are met
• Provide individual and family counseling to children and adolescents
• Complete individualized services plans
• Complete quarterly reports
• Complete progress notes for each session with a client
• Provide information for authorization of services
• Meet regularly for supervision
• Attendance at team meetings
• Completion of assessments
• Documentation Review
• Leading Team Trainings
• Oversight and supervision of QMHPs
