Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Infrastructure, DevOps
- React and TypeScript, including the implementation of complex component architectures
- Proficiency with GraphQL for API integration and AWS Amplify for building and deploying cloud-native applications
- Solid track record in establishing and enforcing unit testing practices within front-end codebases
- Advanced CSS skills for building reliable, reusable, and responsive UI interfaces
- Demonstrated leadership in agile and squad-based environments, facilitating ceremonies, aligning teams, and driving delivery excellence
- Deep familiarity with AWS architectural best practices, cloud-native tooling, and secure application development in enterprise environments
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to co-develop delivery approaches and establish timelines for major project milestones
- Oversee progress and ensure delivery against project plans, identifying risks and removing technical blockers where necessary
- Lead architecture and design discussions, with a primary focus on front-end decisions, setting standards that align with AWS best practices
- Review and validate final architecture and deliverables, ensuring adherence to code quality and security standards
- Mentor and guide engineers through code reviews, design walkthroughs, and hands-on problem solving
- Support agile teams in sprint planning, estimation, and prioritisation, providing technical direction and clarity
- Act as a point of escalation for squad leads, monitoring team progress and facilitating collaboration to resolve issues
- Partner with product owners and stakeholders to help shape technical decisions, define sprint goals, and align deliverables with strategic priorities
- Participate in steering, engagement status, and leadership meetings, representing the engineering function and driving outcomes
