Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Information Technology, with at least 2 years of experience in cloud security
  • Strong knowledge and experience in cloud platforms, such as Azure, and cloud security tools and services
  • Strong knowledge and experience in cloud security best practices, frameworks, and standards, such as NIST, ISO, CSA, or CIS
  • Strong knowledge and experience in security domains, such as identity and access management, data protection, encryption, network security, application security, and incident response
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to lead complex security projects
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with various teams and stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement secure cloud solutions that align with the organization's cloud strategy and security standards
  • Conduct security assessments and audits of the cloud environment and identify gaps and vulnerabilities
  • Recommend and implement security controls and remediation actions to mitigate risks and enhance security posture
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents and events in the cloud environment and coordinate with other IT teams and external partners as needed
  • Research and evaluate emerging cloud security technologies and trends and provide recommendations for improvement and innovation
  • Develop and maintain cloud security policies, procedures, and documentation and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements
  • Lead cross-functional team discussions around adoption of modern cloud security practices in alignment with best practices and driven by experience
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for cloud security in modernization and net new solution architecture
  • Partner with cloud service provider team to capture, communicate, and lead internal adoption of modern best practices
  • Provide cloud security training and awareness to the organization and promote a culture of security

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years supporting enterprise cloud environments
  • 5+ years in IT Security
  • 7+ years in IT
