Summary
Join StackAdapt's Inventory team as the Lead Data Analyst of Inventory Technical Operations, driving strategic growth initiatives across programmatic advertising products. Lead data analysis, optimization, and automation to boost performance and streamline operations. Develop scripts and queries to automate workflows and build innovative solutions. Own and manage cross-functional projects to expand inventory platform capabilities. Create comprehensive technical documentation and implement robust monitoring systems. Serve as a strategic partner to inventory stakeholders, leading oRTB integrations and resolving complex issues. Provide senior-level support and mentorship to junior team members. Partner with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational objectives. StackAdapt is a Remote First company, open to North American candidates.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in a quantitative field, with a proven academic track record. (e.g., finance, economics, statistics, math, etc.)
- Hands-on experience in the programmatic advertising industry, with a strong understanding of oRTB protocols and key concepts such as auction dynamics and header bidding
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail
- Experience in both Python and SQL for data manipulation, automation, and analysis
- Strong technical knowledge with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly through writing and presentations, including to senior internal and external stakeholders
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a data-focused role involving complex analysis and insights generation
Responsibilities
- Lead data analysis, optimization, and automation initiatives to deliver scalable solutions that boost performance, streamline operations, and drive cross-platform efficiency
- Develop scripts and queries to automate workflows and build innovative solutions that support teams across the organization
- Own and manage cross-functional projects aimed at evolving and expanding inventory platform capabilities, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical roadmaps
- Create clear, comprehensive technical documentation—including standards, procedures, and best practices—to promote consistency, efficiency, and knowledge sharing across the team
- Design and implement robust workflows and monitoring systems to proactively detect and respond to incidents impacting key inventory KPIs, ensuring minimal disruption and rapid resolution
- Serve as a strategic partner to inventory stakeholders in advancing technical initiatives such as oRTB adoption, pod bidding strategies, and tag certification, from concept through implementation
- Lead standard and custom oRTB integrations with new supply partners to drive scalable and efficient onboarding
- Act as the primary escalation point for complex issues related to inventory operations or partner integrations, leading root cause analysis and long-term resolution planning
- Provide senior-level support on campaign troubleshooting, media planning, and investigative efforts, offering guidance and mentorship to junior team members as needed
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams—including Engineering, Product, Data Science, and Business Intelligence—to align on objectives, drive strategic initiatives, and deliver measurable impact across the organization
