Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
- 4+ years software development experience
- Strong proficiency in SQL and data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL)
- Experience with AWS Redshift and other AWS data services
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and machine learning techniques
- Familiarity with healthcare data, particularly in the assisted living space
- Understanding of healthcare data standards and regulations (e.g., HIPAA)
- Ability to work with large, complex datasets
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
Responsibilities
- Analyze large datasets from various sources, including electronic health records (EHRs) in our SQL databases and data warehouse on AWS Redshift
- Create engaging visualizations and reports to communicate insights to users
- Collaborate with teams to understand their data needs and translate them into actionable insights
- Derive strong correlations between relevant data points to drive operations efficiencies for our users
- Build predictive models and machine learning algorithms to identify trends and patterns in healthcare data
- Craft compelling narratives from data to drive strategic decisions for our users
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science and healthcare analytics
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Experience working in an agile development process
- Familiar with React and Javascript based charting libraries
- Fluent English, grammatical skills
