Lead Data Analyst/Scientist

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
• 4+ years software development experience
• Strong proficiency in SQL and data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL)
• Experience with AWS Redshift and other AWS data services
• Knowledge of statistical analysis and machine learning techniques
• Familiarity with healthcare data, particularly in the assisted living space
• Understanding of healthcare data standards and regulations (e.g., HIPAA)
• Ability to work with large, complex datasets
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Analyze large datasets from various sources, including electronic health records (EHRs) in our SQL databases and data warehouse on AWS Redshift
• Create engaging visualizations and reports to communicate insights to users
• Collaborate with teams to understand their data needs and translate them into actionable insights
• Derive strong correlations between relevant data points to drive operations efficiencies for our users
• Build predictive models and machine learning algorithms to identify trends and patterns in healthcare data
• Craft compelling narratives from data to drive strategic decisions for our users
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science and healthcare analytics

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• Experience working in an agile development process
• Familiar with React and Javascript based charting libraries
• Fluent English, grammatical skills
