Join Enable's newly established ML and Data Science team as the Lead Data Scientist, playing a crucial role in developing cutting-edge machine learning and AI-driven products. You will explore vast data assets, conduct applied research, implement AI solutions, and collaborate with product and engineering teams. This role requires building and releasing AI/ML commercial products, proficiency in Python and/or R, and strong problem-solving skills. Requirements
- M.Sc. degree in computer science, engineering or a related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience in data science and machine learning
- Proven track record in building and releasing AI/ML commercial products and services
- Proficiency in Python (Pandas, scikit-learn, SciPy, NumPy, PyTorch, TensorFlow) and/or R programming language, along with SQL
- Experience building Agentic AI systems, fine-tuning, integrating and productionalizing LLMs; and/or price optimization and simulation using Deep-Q Networks, Monte Carlo Decision Trees, or similar methods
- Deep knowledge of traditional and modern AI/ML algorithms and data modelling strategies
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
- Demonstrable AI projects showcasing innovation and business impact
Responsibilities
- Explore vast, untapped data assets and provide strategic recommendations on AI initiatives to senior leadership
- Conduct in-depth applied research and implement AI solutions across diverse products and services
- Create, and maintain evaluation pipelines and tools for assessing AI modelsโ performance and accuracy
- Collaborate with Engineering leadership to ensure seamless integration of AI capabilities into existing systems and offerings
- Design and execute a comprehensive AI strategy that aligns with the companyโs business objectives
- Engage with key stakeholders to ensure AI initiatives meet company goals, and effectively communicate results to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Ensure all AI applications adhere to ethical standards, industry best practices, and legal requirements
- Partner with Product Management and Engineering teams to develop a roadmap for the delivery of AI and machine learning tools
- Collaborate with Data Engineering to build a cutting-edge data platform that unlocks the full potential of the company's data
- Serve as a thought leader in AI and data science, driving innovation and staying ahead of industry trends to enhance existing products
Preferred Qualifications
- Ph.D. in computer science, engineering or a related field
- Publications in machine learning and artificial intelligence conferences and journals
- Knowledge of ML systems design
- Familiarity with deploying models into productions using MLOps technologies (e.g. MLFlow, KubeFlow etc)
- Leadership experience in a team-oriented workplace
- Experience in supply chain management, distribution systems, rebate management, retail or related industries
