Lead Data SDET

Summary

The job is for a Lead Data SDET in the Quality Assurance space for a Big Data client who processes large financial data and has projects in Crypto/Blockchain. The candidate should have 7+ years of experience, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, strong programming skills in Scala, Java, or Python, experience with Spark/Spark SQL, AWS (EMR, S3, DynamoDB), Airflow or DBT, and Data engineering/ETL experience. Preferred requirements include Crypto/Blockchain QA Experience, Behaviour Driven Development experience, excellent communication skills, good time management, organizational skills, the ability to keep current with technology, a passion for testing, development, and design.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience
• Bachelor of Science. in Computer Science or related field
• Very strong programming skills in Scala, Java and/or Python
• Strong experience and knowledge of Spark/Spark SQL
• Experience writing automated tests and building test frameworks from scratch
• AWS. experience is a must (EMR, S3, DynamoDB)
• Experience with Data pipeline tools like Airflow or DBT
• Data engineering/ETL experience
• Strong communication skills
• Proactive and strong sense of ownership and self-reliance
