Summary

The Lead Decision Execution Analyst II will be a critical member of the Strategy Implementation Team within Data & Advanced Analytics at Best Egg. The role involves implementing, validating, analyzing, and optimizing the Credit Strategy for their Secured Auto Product. The position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Operational Research, Engineering, Computer Science or other quantitative major, 2+ years’ experience in a similar analytic role, proficiency in Python (including numpy and pandas), SQL and MS Excel, and strong analytical, critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills. The annual salary range is $100,000 - $120,000 with an annual incentive bonus.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Operational Research, Engineering, Computer Science or other quantitative major required
  • 2+ years’ experience in a similar analytic role
  • Previous experience in finance industry is preferred
  • Must be proficient in Python (including numpy and pandas), SQL and MS Excel
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence and Atlas a plus
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong self-discipline for organized code and file versioning
  • Passionate about reducing manual or repetitive work when designing and building tools used by internal colleagues

Responsibilities

  • Implement, validate, analyze, and optimize the Credit Strategy for Best Egg's Secured Auto Product
  • Manage key projects ensuring implementation and testing is completed in a timely manner
  • Work with cross-functional teams across both the internal business and our financial marketplace partners to deliver best-in-class products, services, and features to customers
  • Perform User Acceptance Testing and Production Verification Testing on all Credit Strategy changes
  • Develop repeatable and scalable data quality audits to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Automate existing and future processes using Python and SQL
  • Fulfill data requests and performance simulations per the Credit Strategy team’s request
